The Passenger is essentially an Explorer without the scissors. It features an inline Phillips screwdriver and old style magnifying glass. This particular knife features aluminum tipped tweezers which were last used in 1978. The knife probably dates from between 1975-78. It is considered a rare pattern and is long since discontinued. 1/5703 is the number often associated with it but the number was also given to the Explorer. It maybe the knife was the predecessor to the Explorer and was discontued for regular production when the Explorer came out.
