We plant those mixed seed deer plot stuff too but we find that they love oats the best. The only thing is you must plow and harrier it in the grown. My buddy has a tractor and tools at the camp, so next year we are going to plant a lot more oats.

Yes, it is whole corn, I feed to keep them around and because it helps in
this cold. I plant some "throw and grow" plots around the farm. I don't seem
to have a shortage of deer. And yes the Bucks do come.

Is that corn you are feeding? There is a couple of spots I feed to help keep deer in the area. If the does come the bucks will follow. I feed whole corn and corn meal mixed, then some times I feed rice bran. The acorns are short this year, so I'm sure it's helping fill some bellies. I tried to plant a feed plot but I got too late a start. Next year we plan on planting a lot of food plots. The club next to us plants so to try hold our own deer, we need to plant.
