Hope all is well with you this summer. Had an iKC member trying to watch your knife carving video and it fails to load. Hope you can crank it back up for us here.

Spruce would be good as well as maple and cherry. Red cedar would look good as well. Good luck and keep the tradition alive.

See you around-- oh yeah, 50 years ago I wove mats from palms like the one in your photo, and we sat on them and used them for plates. Looks like the "palmetto" in Texas and Louisiana.
