I suspect that all Brass Tacks are made in ONE Factory. After 9 stores and over 2 DOZEN "brands" and seeing no difference in fit or finish I bought 2 12" sections of 1/16th brass rod and have begun cold forging my own.
They are for a new style of wood Scabbard for some of my miniatures, they incorporate a cold forged brass or copper belt/boot/pocket clip that can also double as a Bail for wearing as a neck knife.
