Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

There are many different kinds of sheaths. I like the ones that snap up on the knife handle. The ones that snap lower around the thumb piece, to me, does not work well. Its easy to get the knife out, but not so easy to get the knife back in.

Below is a picture of 10 different kinds of knife sheaths.

Do you have any different kinds or pictures of sheaths.

Thanks Robert, that sheath is just not practical.

I might try that.

I think the reason a sheath is made with that wrap around sheath is to save work and money. It's made with one piece of leather.

The large Bowie sheath, you might get a knife maker to make one for you. It may not cost too much.

Need a Sheath for this Knife. Any ideas?

What is the purpose of making a knife sheath like this? Anyone know. It is very unhandy to get the knife back in the sheath, esp. 1 handed. The knife is great - they are  Case and I have two of them, but I do not like the sheaths. Maybe I will try to put the knives in a more usable sheath. What do you think.?

I don't have any sheaths like that but I have bought some as presents. They do seem like trouble to use. If you only take your knife out every now and then, well it's not so bad but if you go to your knife a lot, you might ware out putting it back.
