This system may not work for everyone, but it will work for me until a better idea comes along. It's inspired of course by the Great Eastern Cutlery packaging system.

Supplies Needed:

                           (1)  Six inch by one and one half inch cardboard mailing tube with end caps.

                           (1)  Four inch by six inch zip lock poly bag.

                           (1)  Three by five card.

                           (1)  Small bag Silica gel desiccant.

                           (1)  Knife wrapping paper.

                           (1)  Knife.

                           (1)  Spiral Notebook

                           (1)  Quantity of small Avery labels.

I document the knife information on the three by five card and in the spiral notebook. Next I wrap the knife in knife wrapping paper. I place the knife, the three by five card and the Silica gel in the poly bag and place the poly bag in the cardboard mailing tube. I number the mailing tube using the Avery label and record the number in the spiral notebook.

The shipping container that the mailing tubes were shipped in will hold approximately seventy-five knives stored in this manner.

This system might not work for everyone, but it sure beats keeping my collection in my sock drawer,

Great job! I've been saying, those little moisture packs or tubes, that come in your medicine. Will help keep your knives dry, when packed together. Thanks.
