Thanks Steve, I've always been an admirer of these great tools that are so primal in concept yet been elevated to truly an art form! You guys are very welcoming.
Thank you Steve.
Thank you Sir
Thank you sir.
Thank you for the birthday wishes. I did not get a new knife, but I will be getting a new Trail Hawk (BHK camping hatchet) in the near future.
I appreciate your card --- I'm 57 today
I picked up a older E R Andrews II 4" blade ---drop point 4.5" rosewood handle
Do you know if E R Andrews member ? How do look up names on this site ?
That was a nice WELCOME note. I see you LOVE your CUTE dog. Me too. But my female tri-color 58 lb. Springer Spaniel would be very jealous.
Checking out the groups now. Interesting selection. I here mainly for the sharpening tips
Like: the best degrees to sharpen at for certain steels heat hardened by specific makers - and to see all the private knife makers I see in the huge yearly Knife annuals.
I guess the CHAT evenings are the big thing.
Thanks- Looking forward to this. The format's a little different but I guess I'll get used to it.
Thank you! ... And I could just use yours ...save the daggers.
Thank you Max !! :-)
Thank you very much, Steve!
Steve - thanks so much for the warm welcome. Everyone has been so nice. I appreciate site tips very much, too. So happy to be here.
Hello all, happy new year all 2019, back to this page after a quite a long gap, please excuse me for that, hope everyone is fine and ready for 2019. Cheers!
Thanks, Steve. Nice Blackjack, by the way. I have a few of the Seki Mamba and Yukon Skinner folders. Also have a Boker Mamba that looks almost identical to the Blackjacks in design.
