My name is Thomas, I am 63, 64 in April, and I am from Sweden. Born on the west coast (Göteborg) Lived for 20 years with the Sami people in lappland – and I am now living in the middle of Sweden near the city of Östersund (30 km north and out in the forest).
Today we have minus 32 centigrade but only about 25 cm of snow –and no mosquitos.
I am a knife user sins more then 50 years. The fact that I use knifes, and other edged tools a lot, make me think about to construct sharpening tools – and that it was I am doing today – but that is not why I am on this forum.
Visit my homepage on www.edgepal.com and look especially on the Swedish side and study the photos there – and you can se how I am thinking. I answer questions about my sharpening tools - if you have any.
I am here on this forum because of my interest of knifes. All knifes.
During my years with the Sami people I learn some things about Sami knifes and perhaps can I contribute with my knowledge here.
I am also a knife maker in that way that I make my own knifes and knifes to friends and so on.
