Yep, got a couple of belts here and there but it was so long ago that I graded that I barely remember them anymore, I guess I went the furthest with wrestling.
I treat the styles I practice now more like gym hours, there's just way too much to learn out there for you to bother with belts. I do spar regularly with black belts of as many arts as possible though.
Awesome because you can get the best knowledge in all areas with grappling, striking, inventive striking and so on (gotta stay fresh and keep surprising people lol)
Kent Gable? Haven't seen him around my discussions but sure, I'll open the flood gates some more. Been waiting for someone to ask about it anyway, I don't know much about other topics than sharpening, steel and martial arts lol
Stephen- I need to find a simple chart w/ a brief descrition of composition % & basic charteristics suck as Rockwell hardness, etc. I'll be lookin' Thanks, Kent
You asked me about the Spyderco Perin PPT, I really do like it and have found it to be a very high quality knife. I am a fan of Spyderco anyhow but this one was really nice. Good quality and attention to detail. If you like Spyderco's you can not go wrong.
Pretty trapper photo with your welcome. Thanks. Thank you for your warm welcome. I am a newbie and for now collect only barlows. I began with barlows because I am old school about so many things. Could Tom Sawyer be wrong?
For a long while I lurked at other large knife forums and learned the histories of most American manufacturers. I began collecting a few older barlows then bought a few Case knives. Later I bought some Queen made Shatt & Morgan, Robeson, and Cripple Creek barlows. Finally I bought a few GECs. All have natural material scales, all are American made, and none are Damascus nor are any Daddy barlows. Bruce
Stephen, I did watch, it's not offten you get 2 great races in a row. The Indy 500 finish was great. I never seen so many cars take off with just 3 wheels. And to watch nascar run on empty in the last lap... man what a day.
Thanks for checking out my photos and the nice comment on my ZT knife. Yep, I am a big fan of them. High quality, sharp, and great looks all at a decent price. I enjoy collecting them and carrying them. Good stuff on your wall as well. Thanks for sharing the pictures.
I just put a pic of Donnies workshop. I was giving him a hard time about it last week and took a picture. Take a look and you'll understand why I asked the question

Stephen,
I will certainly give it my best shot. What questions would you like me to ask?
Hey Stephen!
Who is Steel?
You must be confusing me with some other ruggedly handsome and intelligent guy named Rick. LOL!
Okay, the pics are up and the slideshow looks good.
I wasn't able to load all the pics so maybe I can finish on another day.
I'd like to know what you think.
Thanks again
