I have a SP8 in my camper and two air force survivors knives. One that has never been used the other I found at work. It is the one I take on most of my outdoor activities. Here's the ones that get used a lot in the yard.
Thanks for the welcome, it's good to be here. And yes, I have seen that funny vid from the guy complaining how gec 'ruined' him. I know the feeling well. Spyderco collectors love to complain about getting skunked on a sprint run but that is nothing. At least you can buy some kind of PM2 or Shaman when you want. Try liking a knife company and NEVER being able to buy a new knife from a dealer. That is GEC world.
Hey, thanks! yeah, you can get users with micarta a lot cheaper than the Custom Shops I have for sale, i'd call the Swamp Rats the generic Busse! lol. quit selling those
Thank you for helping me out because I’m one of those people who gets flush straight it easy. So I will definitely take your advice and try to be patient and take my time. I still would like to take some pictures and put them on the site I have some pretty nice knives.
If I could have posted a link, you could have seen it is high carbon steel! Dale would have approved of that. Oh, I see now. I could have posted a link. Now I've lost the knife. Next time.
Hey there! The locking straight-razor was done best by knifemaker Ray Rogers. If you go to his website, he has examples of his "Rayzor", models I, II, & III.
Thanks for the welcome Dead Left. Well you know it happened to be a Buck canoe, gift from my daughter, that really got me into liking the canoe pattern. It's currently my EDC and although it is made in China I thinks its very well made. I have branched out and bought a couple of Case canoe knives which are superb quality but expensive, especially in Canada. So I'm slowly building my collection. Boker, Bulldog, Hen and Rooster and even Schrade have put out some nice canoes as well.
Thanks dead_left_knife_guy i learned at a early age how to make a knife sharp quick but never really could get the results i want from a weltstone that i cld from other devices. I use a ceramic rod

Thanks for the welcome, Dead Left!
Looks like a great place to touch down every now and then.
Maybe I can talk you out of some of that equipment you still have! :)

Thank you, but this is my first attempt at restoration. I have a couple others I am gonna be working on as well
(They're just not as cool)
But all I have used so far on that knife is heavy scotch brite and a lower setting on my dremel with a wire wheel.
I haven't begun anything on the handle yet, I'm trying to decide what I want to do to save the stacked leather if possible
Thanks for the welcoming, it's cool to be here
Thanks for the welcomen it was most welcome
