Need some help, I have been unable to find any reference to this model Ka-Bar, do you know the era, model or history?

I can see why you're stumped on this KA-BAR. At first glance it would appear to be similar to a Camillus Mk3 or any number of trench/combat/fighting knives of that era - WWII, I'm guessing. But a thorough image search (a couple of hours worth) revealed that you have a real enigma on your hands. I would venture to guess, a very valuable one at that? Keep us posted if you manage to find another one like it. Do you have a sheath/scabbard for it?
