I have never carried a small folder in my life. I can see that a lot of people want a small knife.

Either three or four among collectors.  I've often heard it described as the  most carried among the small traditional patterns; small being under 3 inches in the closed position.  However the tiny toothpick is often called the the most collected among the small patterns.

I think Stockman patterns is  probably THE number one collected knife but as there is no real standard pattern it is hard to say it is the most collected pattern.  The Trapper on the other hand has a very recognized standard pattern that just about every knife company makes and that Standard Trapper is the most collected knife.  I seriously doubt it the most carried, however, especially among the folks here on i Knife Collector.
