Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Just received an email informing all RCCC members that Bear & Son will take over the club. This is just a quick synopsis of what's happening. Unfortunately the link to the email has been disconnected otherwise I would post it. The RCCC website is still not updated yet. Anyway this seems to be good news about the RCCC.

It certainly is Michael and from what I am hearing this is a huge deal. For Remington Collectors as well as Bear & Son. Still waiting to hear how this will all shake out but one thing is clear RCCC will be back in full force and look for some exciting knives to come out of Bear& Son.

I would love to see some info on this start showing up on either site

In the email to RCCC members, Bear & Son mentioned that their licensing agreement with Remington Outdoor Company covers the manufacturing, sales, distribution and customer service for all Remington cutlery products. The email states this includes the importation and distribution of foreign (presumably China) made cutlery. also.

So for Remington collectors and users, 2015 looks like a bumper crop year! I wish them a fruitful partnership.

Michael,

you inspired me to  call Bear and Sons this morning.  I had a great conversation with Matt and this is going to be an exciting time for Remington and the RCCC.

Some key points:

  • There will be a dedicated person and email for the RCCC.
  • Again, watch emails...There will be a way to buy a bullet and get 1 year free membership in RCCC
  • A Knife of the year for RCCC is in process!  Watch your emails.  Bear did not want a year of the knives to be missed so they are working on it.
  • Among the dealers stepping up to be a part of the RCCC and offer special knives is Red Hills Cutlery so you may want to get on their mailing list also
  • Soon, Remingtonblades.com will have a special section just for members of the RCCC.  This will offer you the promo codes and specials from dealers supporting the club

On the Bear and Son side of things, they have doubled the USA production of Remingtons!!

They will be having their annual sale at the factory on November 21/22/23.  They will have a way for you to visit and see the production line, special offerings and someone there to help answer questions about the new Remington partnership

I hope this helps!

Jan, it's great that you called and got all that info. Thanks. Good new definitely!

We have invited Matt to be with us as we learn about Bear, their past and where their vision of the future
