Fred- It is a model 9520 Junior Scout knife with bone handles. Dating an older Boker is hard to do as there are no real records, just piecemeal information available. However, I'll give it my best shot. The style of shield on your knife was used from the late 1930's-1950's.Now the hard part. I can't tell if your block letter Boker tang stamp on the main blade says U.S.A. underneath BOKER or not. If there is no USA, that stamp was used from the 1930's-1970's. If it says BOKER / U.S.A., that stamp was used from 1945-1983. If you combine the shield and the tang stamp info, if your knife just says BOKER, it would date to the late 1930's-1950's. If it says BOKER / U.S.A. it would date to 1945-1950's.In addition, your knife has the earlier style can opener blade, so I would guess your knife to be in the earlier time frames of those dates.Hope this makes sense to you.
