So a knife collector stopped by my tables at the Goodyear gun show this weekend and I got to see several knives by Schrade all marked "PROTOTYPE" Very nice too!

Stephen, I use to have an use Old Timers, they were all carbon steel. The Uncle Henery's were stainless, I had some of those also but not as many as the Old Timers. I wish  I still had those old knives, I think their gone forever, I'll look around the place and see if any turn up.

I will look around also Stephen.  Each of those tangs comes with beloved patterns and beautiful handles.  Bet there are some here!

Very nice Stephen.  I like the top one!

Here is part of my Schrade collection.

Here is the rest of my Schrade collection.

Imperial Jack knife. 3" closed, 2-bld, nickel silver badge shield, ?? scales, tang stamped "Imperial Prov. RI.", nickel silver bolsters/brass liners/pins.

I dont think it is celluloid scales.  Maybe a predecessor to bakelight? Very nice knife!

thank you jan, glad you liked it.
