Howdy, Guys n' Gals!

I got a Spyderco Native today that I had won in an Ebay auction earlier in the week. Great little knife! On the back of it is an insignia that I am not familiar with. I'm hoping that one of you might be and that's why I'm asking for your help to identify the insignia which bears the familiar "Trojan Horse" from Helen of Troy fame. Behind which is a lightning bolt and these are all above a pair of outstretched wings. I am including some photographs that may jog your recollection...hopefully!

Here is the knife...

The insignia is on the backside of the knife...

And now we'll zoom in a little closer...

And now, up close and personal...

So, this is my dilemma! Can any of you identify the insignia that you see above and perhaps shed some light on its significance and what group or organization it relates to? Thanks in advance for any help you might offer. It is greatly appreciated!

Cheers!

Charles, THANK YOU!

I should have probably recognize it, myself. But now I'm wondering who commissioned Spyderco to run this Special Factory Order? Obviously someone who served with the 10th Special Forces Group. Hmm?

I swear! The things that turn up on Ebay. I think I know exactly where to look? I'll be baaaccK!

Thanks, again!

Ron

It apparently is a badge of the 10th Special Forces Group.  Here is a link to more info.

Thanks, again, Charles! Great stuff!

Excellent find for both of you.  Great knife and now the info to go with it.  Thanks Charles for helping out.  Ron, good work on getting an SFO with a cool heritage

That's a cool Spyderco Ron!
