I received 2 new knives today. A Case saddle horn and a Rough Rider Barlow. I'm replacing my Bear and Son Barlow. You know how eversooften you just want to feel a new knife in your pocket.lol I hope the pictures go through. This is my first time posting with my phone.

That Rough Rider looks to be a good pocket user.

Yeah, I'm debating on letting teenage boy take possession of it.

It'll be a good way to start him out. Rough Riders are inexpensive enough that you can try out different patterns without breaking the bank.
Besides, you can always get you another.

You did very well! I like both the knives and both the patterns. Let him take the RR, he may want that new knife feeling also :)
RR's are also good to learn to sharpen on

  Nice knife ,  I've always liked the Case Saddle Horns and Sowbellys too .

Any good Barlow knife is a great knife for a kid or teenager.  Millions of adults across America had Barlows as kids.  Heck, we used to win them at the county fair every year.  Give it to the kid and order up another...they're cheap enough to afford to.
