Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

LIMITED!  FIRST PRODUCTION RUN  ONLY 50 WILL BE MADE!

Inspired by the ingenuity of the Koyukon Athabascan of remote Central, Alaska!   The Koyukons are Real Americans whose very livelihood depended on a multi-purpose cutting tool that could slice up a Grizzly Bear, chop ice into blocks for an igloo, gut a moose and still be sharp enough to shave with!  The Improved Tlaabaas is tough enough to take on Sasquatch himself and is made in America made by Real Americans.

The original Tlaabaas was similar to an Ulu. If you’re at all familiar with the native people of Alaska then you know Ulu means “woman’s blade”.  But the improved Tlaabaas is no woman’s knife!  The improved Tlaabaas is tough enough to survive the Alaskan wilderness yet practical enough to be used for any house hold cutting job!    How tough!  It’s so tough that it was dubbed the “Sasquatch Slasher” by a former spokesman of the United States Army Airborne Infantry!

Unlike the original Tlaabaas that were made of antlers, the improved Tlaabaas is made of the finest reclaimed American Martensitic Steel formed and shaped by American hands and honed to razor sharp cutting edge. Rockwell tested?   We could give you an HRC number but why? Knife makers who use the “C” scale are afraid to compare their knife steel to “A” grade materials.  We’re not. We only use the Rockwell “A” scale, the same scale NASA uses for the materials it used to put a man on the Moon. Our reclaimed Martensitic steel tops out with an incredible HRA of 415!  That’s an average tensile strength of an astounding 210,000!  This steel is in a league of its own! No other knife maker in American has even attempted to make a knife with steel of this quality!

This high quality Martensitic Steel is secured by American made polymers and brass screws to the finest American hard wood handle to assure a quality unsurpassed by lesser quality foreign made cutlery!  By extending the back grip of the Tlaabaas at one end we have increased the knives functionality!  The user use the Tlaabass in its traditional  method by gripping the handle  above the blade . This is the way the Tlaabaas and Ulu style knives  are gripped  when skinning or scraping.  But when the user grips  the extended handle it becomes a defensive weapon if you’re at attacked by Grizzlies or rampaging sasquatches trying to rape your women folk!

To improve the grip, the hand crafted American hardwood is handle wrapped in space age Fiber Reinforced Low Density Polyethylene (FRLDPE).  FRLDPE has been combat tested by American soldiers for over 50 years and is still relied on today for the toughest assignments on and off the planet! The FRLDPE will brave the toughest weather extremes and is water resistant.   We stand behind are quality FRLDPE. If it should ever fail under normal use, Just send your Tlaabaas back to us an we’ll fix it for free. (you just pay for the shipping and handling)

Did you notice the extra large lanyard ring at the back?  It is also made of the same Martensitic steel and is large enough so you can fit a finger through it and prevent handle slippage.  It also provide for a secure karambit grip for defensive fighting in case you’re attacked by drunken lumberjacks.  It is just a coincidence!  Yes the lanyard ring can be used as beer bottle opener. What better way to celebrate fighting off a pack off hungry wolverines than an ice cold beer!

We know our sure grip FRLDPE handles are slip proof but we decided to add a hunter style guard to keep your hand away from that razor sharp  half moon blade.  It is also made of super strong Martensitic  steel.

Inspected and Serialized.  Everyone of our handcrafter Sasquatch Slashers are inspected and certified.  Our small batch production methods allow us to serialize each piece. You will receive a letter of authenticity matched to your own serialized Tlaabaas signed by the President of the Company!  We stand behind our product.  If it should fail you, just send it back along with the appropriate paperwork. (all you pay for is the shipping and handling fees! The new knife is on us!) Just remember that because we make out knives in small batches there may be a delay in replacement.

The original Tlaabaas is unwieldy beast that is hard to transport due to the shape of the handle Out improved model allows the user to carry the knife in a custom jump certified sheath made of the same tough FRLDPE used to on our nearly impervious handle.  Each sheath is made of top quality FRLDPE throughout.  We also use three tie downs made of industry grade quality poly-filament   assuring your Improved Tlaabaas won’t be lost when you parachute into the Alaskan Tundra!

Whatever your needs, in the home, in the jungle, or stranded on a glacier, the Improved Tlaabaas is just what you’ve been looking for! We back it with our exclusive limited life time warranty.

I hope it's not too late to get myself one of these!

I especially love the sheath!

I'm glad to see that you got a low production number on yours!

I am also envious of that trophy Great Horned Bunny that you have on display!

Looks like a "green" look at survival weapons!!!

Thanks Sue  Another great selling point!

I really like the beer bottle opener on the end. After a long day of Sasquatch slashing you gotta have a cold beer!

Tobias,

This is just about the funniest thing I have ever read.  I literally split my sides on this one and did a fair amount of ROFL.  It is hilarious.  It ought to go into the IKC hall of fame.
