And ... there is more to a knife that its ability to cut something. It's the combination of materials, shape, and how well it feels with it meets your hand that mean more to me. Quite often, it's also the little things that might not register at first glance that distinguish one knife from the rest of the pack!

Camel bone is something we usually buy at Blade. He likes to be hands on with it before he buys it. There are some gorgeous camel bones out there. I have been told the reason you do not see manufactures use it more often is because it does not all dye the same. I think it would be a way for manufactures to make the knives more personal because they would not all be the same. Personal opinion
