Never understood the importance of patina, in my younger days, but I appreciate it now. It's coming along.

Had to check that it was the same knife that I sent in because they cleaned all the patina from the blades.

They are mine...I know because I had filed the kick on the sheepsfoot blade.

I do believe that they changed the scales though. Either that or they buffed some of the original character away. Opinions...

Means that it's on the bottom of the pile.

I remember Queen was known for that problem, & look where they are now. Okay, I shouldn't conflate the two, I haven't heard of Case having the same issue, but I'm not a collector of classic patterns (we just happened to order Queen knives for our club knives, so I just happened to hear about those).
