Newest addition to my EDC rotation.
Was really looking for the Yellow Comp CV, but this is what was available, nearby.

Figured I'd better take a before pic, transformation begins soon.

CASE polished out all the patina, on my knife, when they replaced the backspring.  Been working on getting it back.

Never understood the importance of patina, in my younger days, but I appreciate it now.  It's coming along.

Got a package, from CASE, today.

Had to check that it was the same knife that I sent in because they cleaned all the patina from the blades.

They are mine...I know because I had filed the kick on the sheepsfoot blade.

I do believe that they changed the scales though.  Either that or they buffed some of the original character away.  Opinions...

CASE officially said that they received the knife and it's awaiting evaluation.

Means that it's on the bottom of the pile.

According to the Post Office, it made it to Bradford.

They'll be gentle. LOL!

Well. It's in the hands of the Post Office and the folks up in Bradford, now.

Oh no.

It's still in production, DL...

I'm just so **** frustrated right now.

I'm done.

So I gather it's not a model that's currently in stock (because that would be pretty sad if they had them in stock & chose to repair your knife instead).  I remember Queen was known for that problem, & look where they are now.  Okay, I shouldn't conflate the two, I haven't heard of Case having the same issue, but I'm not a collector of classic patterns (we just happened to order Queen knives for our club knives, so I just happened to hear about those).

Still, very frustrating.  Sorry, JJ.

I'm so aggravated right now.

My knife is gonna be in Pennsylvania for a couple of months.

Already got it packaged up ready to send in the morning.
