admire your ebony herbertz kees!  have a few herbertz in my collection.  i like em...

around 2005 herbertz created some huntingknives in the somewhat "softer" but very tough 420 ainsi

great material for my sharpening practice and not very expensive

the blade of this knife is very thick (5.2 mm) and even thicker as it goes into the full tang handle !

it is made rather rough with unfinished sides of the blade and the supplier told me only few were made

kind of prototype ?

i love the balance of this little heavyweight (more than 8.5 oz) 

it looks a bit like a  "homemade" knife and i sometimes fantasize i could have made it myself  LOL 

which i never could of course !
