"Very nice collection Charles. Now you truly are into these large angler toothpicks. I have 2 or 3 toothpicks one is 3.5 " or 3.75". None are specifically for anglers. Later when I have my knives out I will come back and post some pictures.…"

" Nice story about Micheal Prater and breakfast Jan ! The more that I look at this handle material the better it looks. The small voids/holes in the egg shell/conch shell/egg shell/mother of pearl handle materials. Is just as much…"
" Your not getting jealous now are you Jan? Talking knives. Today I received my newest edition to my collection. A Hen & Rooster Copper Head. I was curious to see what this egg shell concoction that Micheal Prater has come up with and has…"
"I have been an avid cat and flathead fisherman for many years now. You never stop learning. To think you know it all is just proposperous. Have yet to get a line wet once this year and I am afraid I may have missed the first big spawn of the spring.…"
"Hi Michael. I read your reply. I am convinced that you deserve a knife every now and then. I wish that the story you told was a true whopper. It sounds like we have some things in common. I did read a reply you had sent to me not to long ago. Tried…"
"Hi Jan and others. Just love to see knifes such as the V-42 and other (original) knifes that are hard to find and valuable. Finding a deal on an antique knife is one of my most satisfying accomplishments. With that said I do not have but a couple of…"

"Though I love the replica that is being reproduced by case of the V42 stiletto. I have to admit that I am not much on buying and paying a lot of money for a copy of an original. I would be interested in bartering for such a piece though. I guess…"
"I really liked all the knifes shown one this site from the Shot Show 2015. The case V42 really has caught my attention. I know I have seen some knock offs around because it looks very familiar. Would love to come across an original at some of the…"

Favorite Kind of Knives
Have a vast array of tastes. Not limited to any specific brand or country of origins. Although I tend to stay away from the Chinese made knifes. Mostly due to the lack of interest from buyers if I choose to re-sell them. If I like a knife and get can get a good deal on it I would by a knife made in China. Personally the Chinese knifes that I have seem to be built exceptionally well. With the blades having a nice sharp edge. Steel is 440. I must say this leaves me with the conclusion that American made knifes are a bit over priced. I do believe that some are taking advantage of us Americans that believe strongly in buying made in the USA products.
