Favorite Kind of Knives
It's hard to pin down my favorites. I inherited a love of Stockmans from my Dad who turned me on to collecting. I have a large collection of folders, fixed-blade, and technical knives. I've also developed a detailed database to inventory the collection (in Microsoft Access -- I'd be willing to share it).

Retired teacher living in northern New Hampshire.
Interests
I enjoy canoeing, fishing, gardening, genealogy, cooking, and wine. Oh -- and knife collecting.

Several iKnifeCollector members have asked me about my collection database. It is a Microsoft Access file, and if you can use it, I'd be happy to share a copy with you.

All comments are gratefully received.

When I was training to be a librarian, I took many graduate courses, and one of my favorites was Cataloging. My fellow librarians-in-training thought I was out of my mind, but the instructor assured them that every so often an oddball like me would…

Hey Chris- I'd love to see how you've organized your database. I'm a Mac, but if you can still grant me access then we'll figure out the best way to share it with the members here.

Thanks you for your kind words about iK and I'm glad you feel welcomed!
