Hi gentlemen im sorry iv been a bit quite lately im really sorry about that but iv got a long standing disability which keeps me in hospitals quite a bit and a new powerchair my eldest daughters bought a home bank of dad to the rescue so its not stopped me crom buying though just not had the time. Anyway you dont want to hear my problems. I wonder could i pleass ask you have you ever come across a folding bowie or a campaign knife folding dirk all the same type of thing made by george butler & co sheffield. It haa " the art " on its blade horn grips slight damage to open you press the shield same to close. I ask because in never seen one made by them i did mention im crazy about them and iv some ideas but i guess i just want someone to say yes really. I cant seem to load a picture im on my phone sorry. Wow thanks for the very warm welcome gents very nice of you. I think i should mention at this point i love anything in stag bone wood horn or hoof also i have this crazy obession with folding bowies please dont ask how many i have or il insist on showing you all of them. I a member of a few facebook sites to and i think that they all are fed up with me and my need to find more old or new with or without swing guards with or without safety guards i tend to go on a lot about them and have been crazy for them for the last 5 6 years now. Its not all il buy but i just love them. My biggest blade is 17inch my smallest under 3 inch and a few fakes and a few real rare ones. I never use the word expert about myself as i just love to learn more but i suppose iv seen a few. I look foward to joining in and i hope you guts cant help me learn more about knives. And if i bore you please tell me to stop plus im disabled wheel chair user and i have a real bad memory so if i repeat anything please stop me yes its really as bad as that. I hope not to only learn more from you all but i hope i might help out in finding information from you about a few odd blades i have and of course if i can help in anyway im very happy to do so.
