"The blade is approximately 30 to 32 inches in length. It has been chrome plated but I am safe to say underneath is forged steel. Can Chrome plating be removed safely or successfully. My thinking is that the plating degrades the value of the blade,…"

"Yikes! I would hate to find myself on the business end of that slab of steel! Is this one of your creations, Dwight? What is the handle material? That's a Pig Sticker on steroids! "

"I need your help identifying the sword in the picture. It came from the Philippines. The handle is carved rosewood and it is hand forged."

About Me
My name is Dwight Carter and I have been building knives for about 10 years on and off. I do custom work along with a lot of my own pieces which I sell to whoever happens to see one of my knives and wants to purchase. I believe in quality, service, and a good looking knife that fits good in the hand. Most of my work is stag handle hunting knives using different blades of 440c and Damascus steel. I would like to get out into the knife world more. I current have facebook site, DC Knives where I show some of my work and talk with others.

I would like your opinion on my work and suggestions, Thanks Dwight
