Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Good Morning and welcome to our first contest of the year 2014.  Let's have some fun!

On January 14, 2014 The Shot Show begins.  We all know this will bring out many new designs from virtually all manufactures.  Just take a look at who attends is massive show and you can get an idea of how many designs are unveiled.

So here is your challenge, from today through midnight EST on the 13th of January

  • come into the discussion and tell me what YOU want to see unveiled. Give me the company Name, steel and blade style. For every day you submit an entry, you get a ticket in the drawing.

One entry per person per day.

Be sure to stay tuned here on the 14th, I will have a discussion going about who has released what and how to find the info on the web.  I will also be releasing the name of the lucky member to win the iKC Gear.

I would like Case to make a Canoe pattern in the yellow delrin handle with CV blades.

A Stand Wilson Non flipper Flipper production version with lefthanded compatible pocketclip made by Benchmade....would lead me to buy my first benchmade. Or Zero Tolerance can do it....I'm not fussy :-)

Maybe do it right with M390 steel or something along those lines.....With polished white micarta handle scales.....hmmm....yes. That would do the trick.

I would like to see GEC come out with a medium sized Barlow pattern in 1095 carbon steel. Something with a stag handles. There is no medium sized Barlow on the market today.

A Case Swayback in the Yellow synthetic would be nice

I want to see an all black Spyderco Yojimbo 2 in CPMS30V!

Great knife plan, Ivars.

My second: I would like to see a small thick sleeve board serie made by Queen I would call it pants spring serie. It would be a small barlows/sunfishes/jacks/trappers....

Setup for barlow

1.Clip point with long pull & pen blade

2. Wharncliff & small wharncliff

3. Spey & pen blade

Blades should be short, wide and thick with swedges, spey blade should be with shape like cotton sampler have, but with full edge

Why pants spring

Backspring will look like a pants - A piece of steel what is splited in the middle till half and looks like a pants, when blade opening pants walking :D Limited edition knife will have a small boots engreaved on backsprring ends :D

Handle material: stag, camel jig bone, buffalo and and maybe mother of perl.

Oh hope to draw some day and hope someone of Queen this read some day and take some of my idea! Enyone from Queen cutlery if you like pants spring - its all yours, use it how you like it, just give me to know! :)

I like Ivars' suggestion (#2) except a wharncliffe and a coping blade...

I would like to see, W.R.Case & Sons open the Vault and premier an Abalone handled mini coke bottle..damask steel, muskrat and spear blades

WOOT WOOT

Buck 110 with buffalo horn handles m390 steel blade

I would like to see a Buck 110 with MOP scales for the Buck anniversary.

I would like to see Buck introduce a new mini Spitfire in 420HC steel.

A Swayback with ATS34 blades
