The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
Can't believe we are entering a another decade. I hope everyone has a great new year. As I open up a new iKC calendar, thought it would be a great idea to choose a knife a month to showcase. Here's my knife of the month for January (I wonder what yours might be?!). This is the last knife I purchased in 2019. It's a utility / hunter by TK Steingass - spalted hackberry handle with a 4.5" 1095 blade with hamon.

It's not often we get to share a photo shoot Dennis - I think we make a handsome pair for this month's special feature. Thanks for picking September to showcase your fabulous Seahorse!
All about you brother - Na Zdrowie!
Thanks guys ... was really lucky stumbling across this in 2020. Linda did only 20 of these for Shepherd Hills Cutlery and I happened to notice them the day they were listed. Jumped right on it.
On another note. As much as I hate to say it ... this may be the last year I continue with these monthly calendar postings. I am finding that I just don't have the energy. Fortunately, did all of the 2026 posts at once at the beginning of the year ... so the remaining posts are ready to go. Hopefully, someone who gets the yearly iKC calendars will like to continue the series to showcase some of their knives!
oh my... that is not good news. I am truly sorry to hear about your energy limitation. I am also almost certain very very few have the breadth and quality of your collection as well as the photographic chops to pull it off. Doing several posts ahead of time. sounds like a very smart things to do. So kudos to that end. :)
