What would your ultimate EDC be? I know this is an old question but what I'm interested in is rather it is more important to you to carry a great folder and a great multi tool, or would you be willing to carry some kind of a combo knife that is a decent folder and decent multi tool together? Also if you could design and manufacture your "ultimate EDC" what would it be? Would it be a large folder with a few tools, or a full size multi tool, with a good size blade? How about a gent's folder with a few tools. Leatherman has come the closest to what I'm describing, what do you think? (Something I have been fantasizing over is the Case Peanut with scissors instead of the pen blade and a bail, but with a small screwdriver added, maybe not the ultimate EDC but it would be a great key ring or coin pocket knife.)
For me,I know theer is no one do-it-all knife/tool.I feel that two tools is the bare minimum for EDC,a sharp cutting blade that can be accessed with either left or right hand, and probly a multi-tool that has sturdy build with many optional tools.I know i didnt answer the full ? but this is my opinion.
My EDC is a Case Mini Blackhorn and a Leatherman Micra. They are just about perfect for me. The Case handles my normal cutting chores just fine. I seldom have to do any heavy cutting. For those rare times that I do, I keep a Frost Cutlery Bowie knife and a machete in my truck tool box.
My most used tool in the Leatherman is the scissors. I use the screwdrivers quite a bit too. It has a sharp knife but the Case is just so much handier to use for knife work.
The Case and the Leatherman are so small and light that they leave plenty of room in my left pocket for my keys and change. That leaves my right pocket open for my S&W Airweight .38 snub.
My ultimate is a Tony Bose Norfolk... I can dream, can't I?
I like small knives, generally, for EDC, so I'd have to say any Case 33.
Ken, I carry a Case Mini Blackhorn and a Leatherman Micra for EDC. The Micra is nice to carry and does have a knife blade but for normal cutting it is just much handier to use the Blackhorn. The scissors is what I use most on the Micra. I use the screwdrivers quite a bit too. I occasionally use the tweezers. Oh, and I clean my fingernails with the Micra.

I have a regular rotation of EDC knives that I find most useful. So far my Wenger SAK has held the #1 spot for the last 10 or 15 years. It has everything I ever need and it goes unnoticed in my pocket until I need it. The Leatherman Micra is another great little EDC
Looks like a great bunch!

for me it's the leatherman man because you have many functions and it doesn't look aggressive
