Well I consider myself a turkey hunter, but I am not feared by turkeys.  I make a lot of noise in the woods, occasionally turkeys make noise back, sometimes the guys I'm with even discharge their guns... but as of yet the grocery store is the only place where I've successfully bagged any turkeys.

Smarter than they appear, I have never sucessfully called in a turkey. I have some long shots with a rifle.

I am setting up my blind next week if things go well. Our season is Apr 21-May 18. Looks good here to.
