I agree,Billy .Many of my most treasured knives were gifts from friends and family (some of which are fairly valuable. Unfortunately, I guess, there are more than a few I spent over a $100 on.The most I ever spent was on a Case Classic 2007 1/2  Mastodon Ivory Trapper Prototype. I paid $260.99 for it. But every time I think I'm crazy, I look at it and think, no one else in the world has a knife liike mine. It is so rare, It's not even listed in JIim Parker's  " Case Classics, Best In The Long Haul". When they pry it from my cold, dead hands someone make some money off of it !!
