John, In my opinion Queen's honey amber scales are hard to beat. I know I've always admired them.

Thank's Ron , you know I value your judgement highly . Queen do a very nice stag bone don't they.

Wow, what a beauty, John! I really like the jigging on those scales.

Congratulations, my friend! Use it in good health.

I like the Rail Splitter a lot Leo it functions great , the D2 blades take a great edge and keep it . It does help if you have diamond if you need to change the blade profile ,though I did this on wet and dry sand paper . There are no visible faults on this knife at all though the main blade is not the smoothest to open , slightly rough feel to it which I have heard is quite common on this model .  At the price point they are an excellent buy and really good user's with such a tough steel , I like the chunkyness of the knife and the blades are not to long . I live in a very knife unfriendly country , most people I know think I am a bit mad for having a liking for knives . It was great to find that there is a whole community of like minded  people .

In short get a Rail Splitter you won't regret it , and afterwards get a Fallkniven which is even better !
