Well not only is your 1884 Trapper way cool, so is the info you provided! Thank you. I was going to ask you the same question, but Tim here beat me to it - and I'm glad he did. I like hanging out with all you smart guys!
Tim,
First I'll thank you and Steve for your generous comments on my CUTCO Trapper. Thank you, gentlemen!
And now I'll let Tim know that I use Picasa 3 for many of my photo editing projects, such as the one above. I also use it to store and manage my photographs. The layout above is a really simple project. It's a combination of drop shadows, museum mattes, and borders. All of which are tools available during the editing phase.
Of course, I can achieve much greater results in Adobe Photoshop but I've grown lazy in my old age. Picasa 3 is a Google software program. And it's a free download, to boot! Trust me! It's a very simple program. I mean, it has to be...I can use it! And, if I can use it anybody can!
Give it a shot - Check it out, and let me know if you have any questions. Okay?
you must share your photo layout expertise above with me ron.
this is a great looking cutco post you've laid out ron. my hats off to you.
