The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
Of all the knives I collect, my favorite are these Damascus Boker Annuals. They began making these in 1980 and I have been able to acquire many at good prices because the market for them is low these past few years. All the 23 I have purchased were at a fraction of their original msrp. That is why I have been able to afford them.
You can look at all the annuals on the attached site.
http://www.boker.de/index.php?c=2115
I am missing the 1981, 1983, 1984, 1987 and the 1990-1997.
I have doubles of the 2001, 2004 and 2006 that I would love to trade for what I am missing.
Any other collectors of these knives a member of the community seeking to trade or sell?
I added the pics of all the Boker's on here

Thats no problem.
The big reason i want to sell them as a set is there is not many poeple collecting them and if i sell them off piece by piece its going to drop the value of them.
Some guy was here and he said the set as is with the 1995 one missing is worth about $9500 to $10 000.

I am now only missing the 81,83,84,87 and 90. I have duplicates of several others already and do not need more. If you are only interested in selling them as a set, I am out of luck.
Thanks anyway.

I have the collection you are seeking the only one missing in the set is the 1995 one.
I have 1981 to 1994 and from 1996 to 1999
All of them was never used nor was it cleaned only have some finger print marks on them.
I will only sell them as a set as im not really collecting anymore the place that did bring them to South Africa stopped for a few years so i was not able to go on with the set.
I also have a few other Boker knives that is collector items like the 1982 and 1992 Wildlife series and the limited edition Yankee Collection also the R.M.S Titanic and 1987 200th Anniversary of our Constitution and also have a forty-niner.
Regards
Hugh

Seeking 1981, 1983, 1984,1987,1990 and 1995.
Hugh, Looking at the newer knives, you are right about the "asking" prices. The only older one currently listed is a 1996 for $264 or best offer. I think an offer of $250 buys it.
Of the 32 knives I have in this series, the average I paid was $286 and lowest price I paid for one was $106 for a 1986. I am interested in buying the years I am missing but your price expectation and mine are too far apart.
Good luck to you. art
p.s. The photos you posted are great.
You can make me an offer and ill think about it.
I would be willing to pay my average price; that would be $286 each; for the 1981, 1983, 1984, 1987 and 1990. That would be $1,430. However, I don't know how we could make that purchase/sale securely.
Ok let me think about it and ill come back to you.
How good do you know the other Boker knives in the pictures there is the wildlife series and the Titanic one and that Yankee one also the 200th constitution one.
I can only see something on the internet about the R.M.S titanic one
I know only that I have seen these "commemorative" knives available for sale from time to time, but like most Boker, there are not many collectors willing to pay good prices for them. They seem to sell as if they were any other Boker, based on handle material and whether or not they are serialized and if so, how large the series.
So, Hugh, have you thought about what you would like to sell these knives at?

I am now only missing the 1981, 1983, 1984 and 1990 in the Annual Boker Damascus series.
If anyone has one of these and is willing to sell or trade, let me know.
I have duplicates of the 2001 and 2004 I am willing to part with.
I can't help you but it's good to hear, you are still hard at it, trying to collect. Good luck.
Latest update, I am now only missing the 1981 and 1984; I have all the others.
I do have duplicates of the 2001, 2004 and 2006 that are available, should anyone else be collecting these Damascus knives and need them.
As of today, I am missing the 1981 and the 1987, Annual Boker Damascus knives. Interested in buying or trading for them. If you have these, let me know what you are interested in.
