Never store a knife for long in a leather sheath (or other material that holds humidity).

I don't yet have a Loveless-style "Big Bear" sub-hilt fixed blade knife - but I'd like to get one! Especially from either Thad or Zac Buchanan out of Oregon. I think I'd like the firmer grip feel of the double pommel handle.

I do not like a pommel on the end of a knife but it is important on a saddle

Due to some health issues I was unable to load a word as of yet today.  So, with that being said...everyone will have until noon tomorrow to enter todays sentence and then we will choose a winner.

Todays word is TANG

THANKS FOR UNDERSTANDING YA'LL

Tang was the drink of the original astronauts.

The Tang dynasty of China (618~907) was known for its encouragement of the arts & literature.

.
It is an urban legend that Tang was created for or by NASA .. it was simply NASA's use of tang that brought it notoriety.

.

Also, when using a hidden tang in the manufacture of a knife .. I prefer to 'rough it up' to enhance its adherence to epoxy. I will generally also pin it in place.

.

And .. I do prefer the tang of a garden fresh tomato.

.

Tang it all .. did I miss one ???

Yes you did, D ale, & I'm not saying it's WuTang Clan -- I'm just not sayin'.  :)

The astronaut Buzz Aldrin said of the drink on Twitter, "Tang sucks !!"

Here's a problematic issue with a knife manufacturer that was, no doubt, marketing these knives as full tang.  This is flat-out messed up.  Would anyone have ever guessed a "limited edition" knife could have such a limitation?

Jan, I hope you are feeling better.

There is a tang on my knife and some tang in my glass.

I like a full tang knife, but drink and food with not too much tang.

And for an entirely different  tang, we could visit the Frances Tang Museum and Art Gallery at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York
