That is a nice and unique item! Do you think it is factory made or hand made?

I may have to make one of those .....

To the best of my knowledge, they are factory made. I've seen 3 or 4 others identical to this one over the last few years.
That's really cool. What era do you think? 1950-60s?
I'm not really sure about the age of it. My guess would be 1960-1970's.

Happy Father's Day! from 1963

Small (tie-tack size) Boker pin.
Boker salesman's sample knife roll.

This box is circa 1950. I got it CHEAP!

This BIG, old display razor and the two advertisements are all hanging in The National Knife Museum at Smoky Mtn. Knifeworks.

I love those old signs Roger! I've been to the National Knife Museum twice now, and I could hang out there all day.

I always forget to bring my camera along though. Thanks for sharing those pics.

Very interesting bit of history.  Thanks for sharing.

This is an advert for the Great American Story knives included in a Boker knife box 1974-5.

"The photos in the previous post are of an old German pruning type knife I just aquired. It surely is interesting, and quite old."
