Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I witness many stereo type men at the gun shows when they see a pink knife. (Spyderco) " Their comment is why would anyone want a pink knife" Well it immediately gets my attention and brings out the rebel in me. I tell them the pink Spyderco knife is to help support the cure for breast cancer. They seem to shut up and say "oh ok" But if you know me I cant just let it rest there. I proceed to pick their brain on exactly what do they have against the color "pink" They really cannot give me an answer other than no man wants a pink knife. Well I have sold many knives to all ages and genders and some of the knives are rainbow colored. SO if it has multicolors on the knife it is considered a man's knife??? But if it is solid pink it is only for a woman or a child or for whom then??? So the bubble gum Case knife is only for a woman?? I think NOT. There are more and more women invovled in Guns and knives presently than ever before I would wager that fact. So if the knife industry is to continue to grow then should'nt men keep a more open mind as to the knife itself and not to who they think the knife should be possessed by. I guess "pink" is and always will be reflected as a girly color regardless ............

I see pink as a bit of a girls color, however if i were camping a Pink knife might be really good, a found pink knife is better than a lost camo one, right?
I think pink guns and knives are lady like, and very cool. If that's what it takes to get you girls into all these hobbies that were once just for men, Yea..Go for it!
Hey Sheila, I agree with your annalist. I sell at the gun shows. The pink knife I carry is the Ka Bar Dovier folder. Ka Bar has 3 pink knives in this series. I have had men ask if I had a pink light and siren go off a man picks up the pink knifes. I sell these knives to ladies, who are tired of the camo look and want some identity for them selves. And if you are tired of replacing the knife in your tool or tackle box, because it comes up missing. Try a pink knife. And by the way I love pink bone handled knives. Thanks Bruce
i work in construction building houses. i use a Pink Carpenters pencil for the same reason Bruce was talking about.... noone wants to use a pink pencil, so noone steals it. if anyone else has a pink one i know its mine. it is a pink panther, (insulation) brand.
about the knives and guns.... i think it is good that manufactures are making products for ladies. its a great way to get women involved with the hobby. i can now buy my wife a pink knife and she will enjoy it, and maybe even get excited over it!
yes pink is for women, and camo is for men... just the way it is.
Pink is my favorite color....
Ok maybe not but that song just pooped in my head,
Pink isn't one of my favorite colors. I tend to buy knives based on "look, not some much it's utility value. If on the other hand, it as a high-art knife or fancy custom that had some pink, I'd be a prospect. And as much as I like Case, I don't like any of their modern colors, including the bubble gum pink. But I realize knives are a personal choice and in the end- each to his own.
Don't think I've ever seen a pink whittler...
Where does pink camouflage fall?

You can get just about anything you want in pink mossy oak camouflage. I think I even saw a buck knife somewhere handled like this....

I carry a pink RC Izula EDC and nobody calls me a sissy. I bought it because it's a beautiful color. I bought it because it supports breast cancer research; my wife is a cancer researcher, and our good friend and neighbor died from the disease. I bought it because it was $10 cheaper than the "more macho" colors. Sure pink is often a girly color, and nobody appreciates a girly girl more than me. "Viva la difference" applies to people, not their choice in knives.
What happens then? The pink knife comes out! LOL! Doug
Fuwafu Fuwafu, puni puni.

In English: Yep, pink will always be seen as a girls color as them kids always hogged their favorite colors starting from kindergarden!
You could say us boys have grown up with a pink ban, lol.

Jenna, sorry to say, but personally I don't see our world coming to a change this decade. It will be many a hundred years before mankind will learn to stand above their lesser qualities and look at their fellow man as their true equal.

On a side note, you hogged them color crayons, live with it! ;)
