Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Some of us have more opportunities to use our EDC than others, BUT we all are presented opportunities, just maybe not every day. What was the last thing you used your knife for?

Cut hulls off of some black walnuts.

I just used my Camillus CQB-1 to slice some chicken breasts up for dinner and also after washing it tested it on a soft ripe tomatoe...It sliced it well for a thick knife blade.I also used this knife to remove labels off plastic bottles.Oh yeah it was employed at breakfast in this pic!Yum!

I used my Spyderco Military to cut thick walled cardboard tube.Man that stuff is tuff as armor and I think i dulled my blade a bit!I also used Camillus CQB-1 to break up bagged ice as a icepick and a hammer with the handle, worked well!

I had some bbq beef dogs and was too lazy to get back up for a steak knife. So I used my "steak knife"!

Opened a box of rawhide chew sticks that just arrived for Princess Sophie.

I used my Spyderco Military to open my new USA made blow gun. Here is our indoor target setup!FUN.

my edc's one is last yrs great easten #72 pattern and great eastern 56 pattern

I used my Umnumzaan to open a Kershaw Tremor clamshell I bought on Ebay, this morning.  I know this thread is 3 years old, but hey it is still a good question.

Yes it is a good thread.  Cool, used a knife to open a package containing another knife.  I used mine to open a package containing a Disney pin.

Used my whittler this weekend to slice some meats and cheeses while in the hotel room.  Donnie used his Boker yesterday to open a package.  LOL James that package contained a knife also :)

No Jan the last knife package I opened was a Cold Steel Spartan and that guy bit me the first time I opened the blade.  It's a lock back and I depressed the lock and with my left hand reached for the spine of the blade, but got too close to the point, just barely touched it and drew blood.

Used my imperial to cut open some furniture wrap, clean my finger nails, cut open a can of snuff, opened various envelopes, cut wrapping paper, sharpened a pencil, and that was before 9am
