Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I was thinking we could have a IKC fishing contest for this spring and summer for our members. I know, you are probably saying how can we weigh fish and with different types of fish north and south east and west, well how can it be done.  Easy, It would not be the biggest but the Best Fishing Picture of one of our members for this fishing season. Yea, who has a great picture with them or their childern and of course a Fish. We could have a judge pick the best picture of the contest. The winner would get a knife of course. Please let me know if ya'll would be interested in it. I think it would be alot of fun. Lets talk the idea up and see what comes of it.

Another awesome knife from a very generous member. Thanks Stephen.

I can't wait to get out again, and hopefully, success will follow.

Thank you for donating, Stephen !!!

A Frost Cutlery Workhorse II

Thank you to Stephen Tungate for his generous donation

Paul,

How old and what did he catch?  Robert is right...those are the memories that last a lifetime for you and also for him.  Our 4 year old grandson calls Donnie and says ...Fishing Papa, fishing.  That either means he wants a new fishing pole or he wants to go fishing (we always have to ask)

He just turned five Jan. My daughter got a picture with her phone but I haven't had any luck getting it to download to this site yet. We'll see. He sure was proud. Sounds like your 4 year old has the fever already! That's cool and fun. Enjoy. Hope to see some pictures from you!

Thanks Stephen!

I'll keep an eye on this thread.  Looks like fun!

I would love to see some fishing pictures

So I just back back from the Sierra's and opening weekend for trout fishing. Had a great time caught a lot of 3/4 to 1 lb bows, however I was able to end the trip with a 2 lb 9 oz rainbow as we were getting ready to leave. Not to bad of a way to finish out a great weekend. I hope to improve on it as the season goes a long. I'll keep you up to date.

Terry, that's a fine photo an a great fish. Thanks.

now thats a good looking trout.....

Can't forget to post the kid
