That is the spirit Jeremi we live only once do something for yourself. By the way nice knife !!

I recently got the Benchmade Bedlam (non-Auto). It is a pleasure to carry and use. I admire the Persian design because the ergos of the knife are excellent.

Nice one Brad the Bedlam auto or manual are awsome knives but little bit expencive IMO Enjoy it.

After long time of searching and waiting i have finally received first Bach of the new INRON MY803 what is the poor man's Hinderer. To be honest It took me around 1 hour of working on one piece to be as smooth as a real hinderer as they came out of box they are just not ready for you the flipping is non functional the ball detention is to hard   that the tum-stud is practically not possible to open without painful indent on your finger. I have a sample of 6 they are offered in 3 different G10 colors. Black, Brow, Orange. As often the issue on on China low cost knives the screws are not heat treated so they are hard to remove without striping or damaging them so I did overall all removable parts my custom heat treat to ensure longer live as you can see on the picture the main pivot screw is little bit damaged and this was just because of the disassembling of the knife. The grind looks similar to a slicer grind but it has a unknown angel. Probably will put on my own new edge geometry maybe 20 degrees. I have pimped the flipper to be really aggressive little bit  like on the real hinderer but for me this is better. The knife is little bit larger than a hindere xm - 18 and thinner. Has just regular Chinese metal frame wit a 9Cr13MoV.

So if you are tired on waiting for a hindere or just do not have or want to spend 800-1300 USD I think this is a nice option the knife feels nice in hands. I like to see that they did not just copied the knife making it a fake replica this if advertised as hinderer coul represent something like the bird like from spyderco but at the and of the day you are getting what you have payed for.

Sweet looking knife.

Bark River S~T~S~5

The S-T-S-5 is a New design that we developed at the specific request by members of the U.S. Marine Corps Force Recon.

The Face and nature of Warfare in the last 10 years has changed. With encounters becoming Face to Face and chest to Chest it has been time for some new Strategy and some new training of Elite Units.

The use of a knife as a weapon had really been mostly phased out for all U.S. Armed Forces.

Without going into Specifics on the Actual Training that has been adopted and is in use there is now a need for a knife that is compact while still having enough Blade to reach Vitals and stout enough to deliver enough energy to pierce to those vitals.

The S-T-S-5 fits that need.

Here is the Knife in Hand.

Thans, Jan. here is my Bravo-1 which will tide me over until my STS arrives.

Ron,

One thing I can say about the Bravo 1.  Not only is it an exceptionally great looking knife but that steel is awesome.  It will hold an edge till the cows come home and then some.

That's a nice looking piece, Ron.
