That knife definitely didn't leave the factory that way. It's ebay sellers like this guy who makes it hard for the honest ebay sellers like myself. I don't think it's a factory 2ND because I'm fairly sure Queen engraves all of the 2ND's with a "2ND" before they will let them leave the factory." My guess is this seller was just trying to dishonestly unload his junk and you just happened to be the unlucky one who got it. I would definitely file a complaint with ebay and i think you should tell everybody you know this guys ebay name so no one else buys anything from him.

Stephen this knife couldnt be factory second, maybe a 24th. its that bad. A goat could do better.

maybe later

Ya herb now that's bad.what a shame some people are like that ...

I agree with Miss Jan, Queen would not have let a knife like that leave the factory in that condition, unless it was a second. You must be careful of all knife dealers. The web is a spot that the crooked SOB's can try to take advantage of us happy, trusting souls so please be carefull. Never spend too much on there without knowing the seller well.

I must say,Mr. Burris, that I take exception to your remark that"You must be careful of all Knife Dealers". For every dishonest dealer you meet on EBay  there are a dozen HONEST DEALERS that YOU have never heard OF! Or ever purchased from. I sell HUNDREDS of Knives, and I ship them All Over the World. I( defy you,or anybody else,to find a customer that is dissatified with any purchase, customer service from me! I would suggest,MR. Burris that you should carefully think about your remarks before posting them on the WorldWideWeb!

Bob,

I am positive Mr. Burris was not trying to cast stones at good and legitimate dealers such as yourself.  He did however mirror how many of us feel about buying on ebay.  There ARE folks out there

trying to take advantage of us happy, trusting souls SO BE CAREFUL.

Never spend too much on there without knowing the seller well.

I have always recommended to folks buying on ebay that you know your seller well before purchasing too much

We have purchased approximately 600 knives on the web.  Some of those dealers have become good friends and great dealers, others...one purchase was enough to turn me of either their products or ethics.

I do believe Mr. Burris meant this just how he phrases it, just be careful out there.

On a side note, if your not familiar with the dealer...come on here to our chat and ask if anyone else is.  As Bob Andrews said well, his customers would be willing to vouch for him and other dealers with his ethics would not be afraid of someone asking either.

I believe MR. Burris meant exactley what he said too. quote[You must be careful of all knife dealers. The web is a spot that the crooked SOB's can try to take advantage of us happy, trusting souls so please be carefull.] unquote He never mentions EBay in his statement. He DOES mention ALL knife dealers. I will be awaiting his apology!

Bob, after you insulted the state of Louisiana on the GEC group you are waiting for an apology? Well, the Web does have alot of great knife dealers, I was just trying to give a little advise to a new comer not to trust everyone on there untill they get to know them. I was just trying to help the new buyer. You say you have an honest business, well I believe you but there are dishonest ones out there also, that's what I was warning about.  SO BE CAREFUL.

I didn't insult any body. I was merely stating the fact that there are hardworking men up here from Louisiana. They work hard every day. And yes they buy knives. And yes they are called Roughnecks, you managed to insult roughnecks, and ALL KNIFE DEALERS!

I think you have misunderstood everything I was saying. You are the only one that has taken this the wrong way. If I have hurt your livelyhood in anyway, I certainly am sorry but I think you are over reacting for what I have said. Lets let it go, alright.

I've been wanting one of them in the amber jig bone. The only problem I have had with a few Queen knives is the sharpness of them. Other than that, they seem quality made. I know they do sell seconds a lot of times.

Herb, I love that new one you have.

It's just about perfect.
