16.5 inches overall, including four pounds of 154 CM steel in the blade and shaft, shaped and ground by the widely recognized craftsman, Mr. Ted M. Dowell of Bend Oregon. The handles are made of ivory. Their polishing and engraving in classic scrimshaw is the work of Mr. William Metcalf of California. Blade etchings representing scenes and designs of the Revolutionary period on both sides of each blade are the work of Aurium Etching in Garland Texas. Engraving the double guard which bears each state name is the work of Mr. Dwight Wright of Bend Oregon.

4 pounds of 154 CM? So you got the feather weight version then....nice! LoL!! That's a berautiful piece. I had no idea there was a Bicentennial Commerative set of knives out there like this. Of course I was only 17 then, but still, someone could have told me long before now!

Do you plan on securing knives 2-13? Please share if you already have additional one iof the set. Thanks for sharing this one...it's wonderful.
