Fantastic one. In Italy we don't have the EDC practice. We simply take our stuff without caring too much.But i think this is cool. It's interesting see what a person chooses to carry  everyday.

Just a couple of years ago I had never even heard the term, "EDC." Now it seems that my life revolves around EDC. It's always changing, evolving and improving. Heck! Loading my pockets and belt has become almost ritualistic. What to take? What to wear? Which flashlights or knives will get their turn in the day's rotation? Becoming aware of EDC has certainly raised my consciousness in relation to the importance of the things I carry. And, I hasten to add, I love it!

It is interesting on both sites what folks will carry in their pockets daily.  Notice no women emptied thier pocketbooks to show.  Goodness it would take me an hour LOL

Most cameras don't come with a lens wide enough to capture the average woman's EDC all in one frame, Jan!

You know Ron, I wonder when the term EDC started? Waaay back when, we used to just call them "users". Or say "What are you carrying today.  EDC seems to be used in just the last 10-15 years maybe?

Well, it's like I said, Craig. It's only been in these last couple of years that I even heard the term used. I never gave it any thought. I just loaded up with the stuff I thought I'd need for the day and I was out the day.

I will also add that everything these days is an acronym. So I guess someone just decided that what they carried needed some letters to describe it, and there ya have it -- EDC!

You said it!  An acronym for EVERYTHING! It drives me nuts sometimes. Of course at my age now, a lot of things drive me nuts.
