Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Newer member Mike Haines from Spokane Washington has a few knives for sale...I had answered a Craigslist ad about tools and other "stuff" and stumbled across a small bag of old factory folding knives! Boy was I stoked..I used to collect knives in earnest but quit after a home robbery in '95'...but I knew what these were and could not pass them up...One is rare and valuable..I think..a Remington Bullet model # 1253....the rest are neat but common old factory knives...I do not have a complete list of brands or a description of each..yet...but you can e-mail me @ mj111haines@gmail.com if interested..Steve Hanner said he would send me a link to a pricing guide for old knives...'till I can see that I am open to offers...There are twelve total ...I am guessing at this point the bullet is worth several hundred...but the others only about $15 each...???  send me an offer for all...I need to pay bills ...  Mike Haines   WA.

Hello

I'm interested in the knife in the bottom row 3rd from left or 2nd from right. It has white scales, what looks like a button and two blades. I'd like more photo and what is the tang stamp?

John

Hi John...I expect to have to ship..so I am offering all eleven old knives for $150...the Remington Bullet 1253 is starting @ $800 or best offer....I will send specific info on any or all knives to anyone interested in the package deal....I might break up the set later if absolutely necessary...I am just so busy trying to scratch out some bill $ ..I do not have the time to sell one by one unless I have to...want the set of 11 ?  or the Bullet maybe ?  Mike
P.S.  Knife club rules are to discuss specifics of sales on seperate e-mail..mine is mj111haines@gmail.com

Great, alot of guys, want to know what that tang stamp says. I have a Remington bullet knife like yours, it's a great old knife. They say that it was Al Capones favorite knife back in the 1930's. Good luck, with your sales.

Thanks M :)

Thats funny...what I heard was that he was fond of snapping open a switchblade in the face of those he wanted to intimidate....and that was a big reason they decided to outlaw that type of "weapon"...Mike H.
