All good advice Sue! Ha, ha!

Well gettin ready for another KnivesLive TV this time on early Tuesday! Although if ya notice the light outside is getting a bit darker, a bit earlier, all along. Could be that "Early Tuesday" will be about right....

This Friday we have our part in Turtlemania, go figure but it should be lots of fun and I bet we here a few Turtle calls yet!

Well a wild and crazy rumor the KnivesLiveTV on Tuesdays may just go back to 9 ET Might be a bit easier as i am still digesting food when they come on and about half my chores still to go!

Well the rumor was true and the boys moved back to 9pm Eastern..you just never know, now rumor central has it the program will drop off to oblivion in October, with the last show airing then. Not sure what to make of that along with a rumor the Buck Channel will offer them a home. Cutlery Industry is abuzz.

I saw that they were going back to 9:00, on the SMKW website.
I hope that they will continue some type of web feed. Time Warner just doesn't carry the outdoor channels like the satellite providers do.

Well a great time to be had on Friday Night as the Gunny was on pitching SOG products! So many great items!  Winner of our Fox and Hound giveaway was Jodi!

Given away knives is fun more members should really be joining in for a "free Knife" ! Mr Tony Bose psost a picture of a rare pine knot toenail! Check media /photos for a look.

Look for a new discussion on Monday using tabs, and a seldom used one LINKS! I will tell you why on Monday!

Well lots of folks checking LINKS now so happy about that and of all things the guy responsible for helping promote us... Clay, is now a contributing member. He put our banner up and we sit on Top of many other Knife sites! My thanks to him and check his site out...a great alphabetical listing of knifemakers(Sound familiar) and it does work pretty neat!. http://knifelinksunlimited.info/1.aspx  Also lot of other useful links that you can use. Make friends with him and get to know him, he is one good guy and as devoted to knives as we are!

The fellows at KnivesLive TV tell us the TV Show is coing to an end..Please join us Tuesdays and Fridays in the month of September as the TV Show winds down.

Also this marks the return of our informal chats hosted by Gus Marsh!  First up Buck Knives!  More info to follow!

Well many "diehard' KnivesLiveTV devotees" joined us for Tuesdays version. It was fun as always and we saw some aggressive Case pricing as well as Tuesday only offerings(will not be shown Friday). The boys hinted last night their efforts will be put behind MVPknife their selling outlet on eBay. Also the auction for SMKW various lots will be held this weekend. Check out the stuff offered: http://www.auctionzip.com/Listings/1841640.html Some interesting pieces including trays of knife parts..yes that looked appealing!

Today also marks the 1 year anniversary of the ownership of the Queen Cutlery by the Daniels family. Those folks have been so nice to us and we wish them continued success! Join in the celebration!

Well the final KnivesLive Show is in the books(or on the DVR) and what a show it was. Read Chuck Parham's post in Forum: http://www.iknifecollector.com/forum/topics/swan-song

Someone mentioned bittersweet and that was a good way to describe the end. We had many attendees and several who dropped in briefly. It was nice to see Kevin Pipes and his wife and he did thank everyone which was nice.  I also thought the other highlight from the night was of all things a Zippo Lighter which may have been selected for what it said: "Game Over."

Game Over Zippo Lighter - High Polish Chrome - 28447 Zippo

This was also the show where my friend Josh Hill cut his index finger handling a knife, only to hastily slap a bandage on it.  Another great "Live Show Moment"

The last knife on the show as a Case, I guess somewhat fittingly it was a John Wayne.

And then the show closed with Tony and Josh holding the two Bulletin Boards up for the camera, the ones we loved so much, the ones that used to be behind the hosts, that contained our pictures, our notes. And the show closed.

Time Warner didnt carry Knives Live, in my area.

Sounds like it was a great finish.

Don't know if the web site was down due to heavy demand or not, but I couldn't see any of the show.

Anyone have a copy on disk, I'd sure like to get a copy.
