Event Description

Hey Friends
Just thought if any of you were out and about in the GA/NC/TN state line area on or around the 27th o this month you might be interested in a festival set up to benefit the Hiwassee Dam HS Athletic Dept.
It's called the "Rocky Knob Show & Shine" and is a one day event hosted by Crawford's Campground of Murphy, NC. Sponsors are Sugarlands Distellery, Legacy Game Calls, and some of the personalities from "The Moonshiners" (Discovery Channel). There'll be lots of other activities, displays, artisans and at least one fairly decent bladesmith do demos.

Just google "Rocky Knob Show & Shine" for details and directions.

If you behave you just might get to meet the fella that wears this:

(He's a very good friend of mine and one of the personalities mentioned above)

ps - rumor has it there may be some free sampling going on.

I'm very fortunate to know these folks, all good people (just like you guys).

Bud, campground owner, let me have first choice on where I can set up. So I'll be down in the middle of the grounds under some nice shade trees. Just hope some breeze is blowing, gonna be a hot one - at least where I'll be.
