Our 2010 Solvang Custom Knife Show is well into the planning stages, and promises to be an exciting, enjoyable event. The show will be held Saturday, April 24, 2010 at the beautifully remodeled Hotel Corque (formerly the Royal Scandinavian Inn). Like the well-known Art Knife Invitational, this will be an all-drawing show, giving each buyer a chance to see every knife in the room before sale. For those of you who spent hours waiting in line Friday mornings prior to our past shows, you will be happy to know this will no longer be necessary. Everyone will enter the 2010 show at 10:00AM, and have three hours to view all of the knives in the room. During this period, you will be able to enter your name into the drawings for any knives you wish to purchase. This will give each collector an equal opportunity to purchase every knife in the room. At 1:00 PM, a name will be drawn for every knife by each maker, and you will walk the room to see what knives you have won the right to purchase.

Being a one-day event, we will have to limit the number of buyers attending to only 200. If you would like to attend, we need to hear from you. Please contact us if you would like to receive an invitation. Formal invitations will be mailed out in early 2010. Cost to attend will be $125. Non-buyers admission will be available for $75. This will include a lunch served during the show, and a ticket to our legendary BBQ and wine event, held at the Gainey Vineyard Saturday evening.
