I wanted to come back right away now that the auction is over to say a big "Thank you!" to all you who supported my knife auction! It went well. Overall, I'm very pleased and hope the buyers are too. While some knives went less than I'd hoped, overall, again, there is no doubt, the knife market is alive and well. I stepped out and used an unknown auction firm to do the sale and am convinced their online bidding system worked like a charm. I'm waiting on the final stats, but do know we had bidders from throughout the country, much better than if I'd held a local "live" auction . Thanks again...and for what it's worth- you haven't heard the last from me :)

Last Day!
I have to go look again and get my bid in!!!!
Just one more day is all there is, better get your bids in!
Just a reminder- the auction closes in a couple of days. Thanks to all the iKC members who are giving their favorite old knife a run. Aside from being a bit nervous about how it will end, I'm having a blast tracking (you know me, I love to track values and toenail trends) and watching the auction unfold.
And for the more dealer folks here at iKC, you ought to run your numbers and jump in on the old granddaddy knives that are sitting at 10 cents on the dollar right now. Somebody's gonna make some money off these if they sell at their current bids.
Thanks again,
Scott
No problem Scott! Some great looking knives and "things" in that auction! I'm like a kid in a candy store!
Thanks Steve. Yes, the auctioneer staff was big on taking as many different pics of each knife, more than is typically provided on online auctions. I want folks to be comfortable with each knife and it's condition, so I was happy the photographer was willing to take all that time.
Thanks for y'alls support!
Wow some great pics!
The history and knowledge that comes with these knives is incredible. Read the descriptions, see the UTube and pass it on.
