Our February 2014 Contest is sponsored by

TC Collectible Cutlery/Terry Ray

Let’s have some fun and give away a knife!

This month is a secret word contest.  Every day between today and Feb 20, 2014 I will place a secret word in the right hand column of iKC.  Bring that word back to this page and use it in a sentence.

That’s it you are entered.

Each entry will receive a ticket and a name will be drawn on Feb 21rst to win.  Only one ticket per person per day.  No fair copying anyone else’s sentences LOL

I would like to see the craftsmen at TIW forge a whaler knife blade.

Beauty Benchmade Stainless Steel tanto ...

I wish more modern knife makers would forge their knife blades.

New word is up

iKC has always got the leading edge on what's going on in the knife world.

I find that of all my knives the easiest to maintain a sharp edge on is made of 1095.

U2 is one of my favorite bands and the Edge is one of my favorite guitarists.

He could feel intense heat rising from the forge and the red hot chunk of steel in his tongs had him a bit on edge.

The reflection of sun on a knife blade, when held at the right angle, will tell you if your blade edge is honed correctly. I'll tell ya'll about it sometime.

I will be on edge until I find out if I win this contest!  LOL

I have my mind.. and a mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge.

I prefer a blade that has been hammer forged.
