Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

At the request of our members, please upload your picture and real name.

iKnifeCollector is more than about knives and collecting: it is about you and me- the members.

If you haven't already noticed, iKC provides for a more personal interaction among its members than any other place on the web. We understand many folks have created and established an online nickname and identity, but we ask our members to use their real name (if you want to add your nickname to your name too, that's cool) and also to use their actual photo. We have thousands of pics uploaded by our members into photo albums and there you can add some of the others you want associated with your profile.

One of our members recently wrote an excellent post I'd ask you to read- this tells it like it is and why we like to get to know our members on a more personal basis. Check it out.

Thanks for your participation and support-
Scott

Real Name: John R Mattern. Don't do pics.
That is my real pic on my avatar...just don't blame me when the property value around here goes down! :)
I now have a picture of the real me, and not just a picture of my knife. And it's pretty recent, only about 4 months old. I won't put my picture on Facebook though, at least not now anyway. I could put one of me when I was 8 if you would prefer to not see the ugly picture I have now. lol, I never took good pictures anyway. My full name is not very common anyway, I doubt there's more than 10 people with my first & last name in this country.
this is me I ain't no model
Thanks Jesse- all of us appreciate it!
Well, join the club "ain't no model club" along with most the rest of us. :)
Don't worry about that Ed. J. J. is constantly working to keep our values up. I think he is the community appraiser or something like that, and the city council, planner, architect, etc.
