Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I am new to the Forum and would like to ask a question about a beautiful knife I recently purchased. It is a Baughman Fixed blade. Wondered if anyone has ever heard of Baughman knives. I will post a picture once I know it is worthy of being posted. Thanks for any info.

Dave I have heard of Baughman Knives but only have seen one, which was several years ago. You can certainly post a picture and ask a question.

Pics are on the way.

OK Good thank you. If you post them from your computer you can place them as an image Just click on that first box in the header. And if you need help loading a profile picture I can help with that too!

Great Dave, the pictures are wonderful, came through well. Now you said you have a question?

Last Pic.

Guess I forgot the blade picture

Nice handle and blade, looks to be flat ground with a small swedge at the top, file worked and a guard, some fancy pins and a good looking sheath.

The Sheath is also Marked (signed) Mark Bauhgman, Nard to capture the quality under the dining room lights.  The Blade is between 10 an 11 inches.  Have not officially measured it. Very large knife. Looks like it has copper and silver in the artwork ?

Is this a custom knife ? What kind of value does it have ? And where is Mark Baughman from ?
